Josh Konoff brings a diverse set of business skills to Cohen Investment Advisors. Josh will lead our growth efforts by creating and nurturing new client relationships. Josh’s friendly approach and ability to listen well are valuable human assets he adds to the firm.
As a successful real estate professional in the Boston market, Josh proved his business development expertise by increasing sales by 20 percent or more, year after year. In his previous role as Consultant at Gerber Electronics, he was recognized by management for his persistence and measurable results. There he helped improve client relationships and increase business 160 percent.
Josh has recently applied his entrepreneurial drive in the nonprofit sector by founding and directing Boston Volunteers, an independent organization that matches community needs with caring people willing to volunteer their time and resources. Through Josh’s leadership, Boston Volunteers has quickly grown to be one of Boston’s most popular nonprofits. This vibrant organization coordinates a full schedule of weekly community service events with multiple hands-on volunteer initiatives. Josh created effective partnerships with dozens of other Boston nonprofits and companies including Cradles to Crayons, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Emerson Umbrella and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Current participation numbers over 6,500 volunteers.
Josh enjoys playing soccer, reading foreign language literature, outdoor adventuring and rock climbing. He lives by the precept “you miss one hundred percent of the shots that you never take” and is always striving to make things better in his business and philanthropic endeavors.
