New Hampshire – Our Strategic Location
We chose New Hampshire as our main office location for its favorable business climate and excellent quality of life for residents. This state, while small in size, is extremely diverse in geography, natural beauty and seasonal changes as well as enjoyable things to do. Providing financial planning & real estate investing services in New Hampshire tends to be gratifying in many ways.
The people are well educated and ambitious. Crime rates are among the lowest in the nation and families with young children thrive with lots of close-knit communities and quality educational opportunities available. It’s no wonder this state ranks above average or at the top in nationwide comparisons for health and safety statistics.
New Hampshire Investors’ Quality of Life
It has often been said that “there’s more to do within an hour’s drive in New Hampshire than anywhere else in the world.” Our state boasts breathtaking mountain vistas, crystal clear lakes and rivers, a beautiful seacoast and a short drive to Boston, Massachusetts, one of the largest and culturally rich cities in America. This close proximity to Boston offers sports fans great home teams to cheer on. An easy drive brings fans to the arenas where these world championship teams compete in baseball, basketball, football and hockey.
Trying to list all of the outdoor recreation and fitness activities available in New Hampshire is a struggle but we’ll suggest a few: hiking, mountain biking, power boating, sailing, freshwater & saltwater fishing, water sports, motor sports, big game hunting, downhill and Nordic skiing, snowmobiling, rock climbing, golf, disc golf, horseback riding… and more!
New Hampshire Business Climate
Tourism tends to lead as our major local industry but New Hampshire’s economic success also relies on manufacturing, technology and professional services. Manchester, our largest city, is home to the most expansive former textile mill complex in the world, now converted into a thriving technology and light manufacturing center where diverse businesses have relocated and thrive. Our seacoast region is booming not only in tourism but also technology, biotech, manufacturing, media and creative services industries.
Low taxes and less burdensome regulation on both individuals and businesses make New Hampshire highly advantageous for entrepreneurial startups, relocating a company headquarters, or expanding operations. Plus it’s a family-friendly state with lots to do for the kids.
Cohen Investment Advisors was established in New Hampshire nearly a decade ago and we have built many wonderful relationships here. We also serve clients in 15 other states and in foreign countries. Our long-term, local presence in the “Granite State” has proven to be good for business and good for our families.
Quality Education
Most of New Hampshire’s cities and towns offer well-funded public schools for parents to consider for their kids. This state is also home to several highly prestigious private schools that numerous world leaders have attended. Our state university system offers advanced degree programs in all major disciplines and Dartmouth College places Hanover, New Hampshire on the Ivy League map.
Financial Services in New Hampshire
The New Hampshire market is well served by both national and community banks. Representatives from major insurance and financial services brands have local offices throughout the state. Consumers have plenty of choices when it comes to investing and managing their money. This robust competition is one of the reasons we do well here. We are often challenged to meet and exceed the offerings of our peers & colleagues, so it becomes our job to stand out in a positively differentiated way.
As we continue to maintain an office presence in Boston, MA and Boca Raton, FL, and keep serving those markets, we’re pleased to call New Hampshire “home” for the many reasons already stated.
Our main office is located just minutes from Manchester, NH, the largest city north of Boston.
If you’ve relocated to NH (aka “the 603”) and need independent financial advice and real estate investing, we hope you’ll consider contacting Cohen Investment Advisors at our Bedford, NH office by calling 603-232-8350.
